These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Filip Papić, who makes Keep an Eye Out (“the app”). You agree to them by signing in to the app. If you do not agree, do not use the app. They apply in addition to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

Keep an Eye Out has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users.

You must not post, share or send anything that is illegal; threatening, harassing or bullying; hateful or discriminatory; sexually explicit; violent or graphic; that encourages self-harm; that infringes anybody else’s rights; that shares somebody’s private information without their permission; or that is spam or a scam. You must not use the app to harass, intimidate, impersonate or abuse any other person.

Content that breaks these rules is removed. An account that posts it, or that behaves abusively towards anybody, is suspended or removed from the service, without notice.

Reporting and blocking

Every lookout and every message can be reported from its menu, and reported content is hidden from you straight away. Any person can be blocked from the same menus, which hides everything they have posted from you.

Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Content found to break these terms is removed, and the person who posted it is removed from the service.

Filtering

Text is checked against a list of prohibited terms before it is stored, and photos are screened on your phone before they are uploaded. Neither check catches everything, which is why reporting and blocking exist.

Private groups

Groups are private and invitation-only. Anyone with a valid invitation can join its group, so share invitations only with people you mean to include. A group’s owner can remove content and members, revoke invitations, transfer ownership and delete the group.

A sighting is a possibility

Keep an Eye Out helps friends share finds. It does not sell goods, process payments, guarantee sellers or availability, arrange shipping, or verify external listings. Check the details directly before you buy anything.

Your account

You are responsible for what you post. You can delete your account at any time from the app’s settings. That removes your account, everything you wrote and your photos. A group you own passes to its longest-standing remaining member, and a group with nobody left in it is deleted. To leave a group you own without deleting your account, first transfer ownership or delete the group.

Changes

These terms may change. The current version is always published at this address, with the date it was last updated.
